Sushma

Sushma is a Delhi-based artist whose practice explores the complexities of the human psyche and the inner conflicts of contemporary life. Working primarily through printmaking, she uses expressive forms, fragmented figures, and layered imagery to bring suppressed emotions, inner struggles, and states of transformation into visual form. Her work reflects on the tension between the inner self and the external world, drawing from everyday experiences, psychological states, and the unconscious. Alongside this, she also explores landscape, observing its quietness, atmosphere, and relationship with human experience.
